Jennifer Phillips

Jennifer is originally from Sun Praire, WI.
She moved to Wilmington from Wisconsin in 1997 after graduating from the University of WI - Milwaukee with a Bachlor of Science Degree
in Occupational Therapy.
Jennifer married Chad Phillips in 2000 who is also from Sun Prairie. She opened OT Solutions in 2001 after recognizing a need for pediatric OT in our community and having a real passion for working with children of all abilities. Prior to opening OT Solutions, Jennifer worked with both children and adults in New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick counties.
Jennifer and Chad currently live in Leland.
Special practice interests include: Working with families and children on the autism spectrum. Jennifer also has a special interest in pediatric feeding.
She has specialized pediatric training in: The Ready Approach, Handwriting Without Tears, Sensory Processing Disorders, TEACCH, DIR/Floortime, Feeding and Swallowing Disorders, Early Intervention and treatment of babies
Her hobbies include: Making pottery, reading, music and travel, yoga, skiing and boating
Crystal Powell
BSW Office Manager
Crystal is from Wilmington.
She now lives in Boiling Springs, NC with her husband William. They have a one year old son, Garrett and two daushands, Chloee and Suzie.
Crystal graduated from UNC - Wilmington in 2002 with a B.S. in Social Work. Prior to joining OT Solutions Crystal worked in the school system and with at-risk youth in group homes.
Her hobbies include: Traveling, the beach, and spending time with her family
Ashleigh Benfield

Ashleigh is from Gastonia, NC.
She has lived in Wilmington since December 2003. She recently moved into a new home here in Wilmington.
Ashley graduated Lenoir - Rhyne college in May 2003. She joined OT Solutions full-time in July 2004.
Special practice interests include: Children with Sensory Processing disorders. Ashley is particularly interested in working with children on the autistic spectrum and children with ADHD.
She has specialized pediatric training in: Advanced Sensory Processing, Handwriting Without Tears, Alert Program and DIR/Floortime
Her hobbies include: Playing with her dog Payten and spending time at Holden Beach
Something interesting about Ashleigh: She went cliff diving in Belize in 2004.
Seth Berkebile

Seth is from Johnston, PA.
He has lived in Wrightsville Beach for the past four years. He has been in the Wilmington area for a total of five years.
Seth graduated from Duquesne University in 2003 with a Masters Degree in OT. Prior to joining OT Solutions in 2004 Seth worked with children and adults at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
Special practice interests include: Feeding and OT in non-traditional setting (New Hanover County Juvenile Day Treatment Center)
He has specialized pediatric training in: DIR/Floortime. Seth also has a strong feeding background from The Children's Institute (Pittsburg, PA) "Functional Feeding Program"
His hobbies include: Surfing, fishing/fly fishing, sports in general
Something interesting about Seth: He is trying to learn Spanish and loves to travel whenever possible.
Cindy Evans

Cindy is a Certitied Occupational Therapist Assistant.
She was born in Wilmington and has two sisters. She married in 2006 to Brenton and lives in Brunswick county with their two goldfish.
Cindy graduated from Cape Fear Community College in May 2005 with honors. She has been employed with OT Solutions since January 2006.
Special practice interests include: Sensory integration and school-based services
Her hobbies include: Being with family and friends, going to the beach and fishing
Samantha Guillen

Samantha is originally from Hillside, NJ.
She moved to Wilmington eleven years ago to be with her family.
Samantha graduated from Cape Fear Community College in 2006 with an Associate Degree in OT. She is a licensed certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has worked for OT Solutions since April 2007.
Special practice interests include: Working with children on handwriting skills, sensory needs and feeding delay
Her hobbies include: Surfing and snowboarding
Something interesting about Samantha: She went on a mission trip to the Ukraine to teach English to underprivileged teenagers. Samatha also teaches Sunday School to a class of 2 year olds and is a Youth Group Leader at her church here in Wilmington.
Julie Jowett

Julie is originally from the Cleveland area in Ohio.
She has lived in Wilmington for a year, as of September 2007. She has been married to her wonderful husband Jeff since August 2005.
Julie joined OT Solutions in June 2007.
Julie graduated from The Medical University of Ohio/The University of Toledo in May 2007 with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
Special practice interests include: Sensory Processing Disorders, Handwriting, Feeding Difficulties and Early Intervention
She has specialized pediatric training in: Handwriting Without Tears
Her hobbies include: Running, Scrapbooking, Traveling, Movies and Outdoors
